"Friday soon comes round in muso land & to-night Broadband made there debut appearance this Friday evening 26Th @ the Cross Keys & to a well musically knowledgeable crowd were well received & appreciated for two long sets of classic & not so classic songs which was well complimented by the band led out front by Karon with whom i was pleasantly surprised how good & strong her voice was this being the first time i have had chance to take in Broadband."

Rock Of The North

"A performance that went down well & can rock it up no problem & a name to look out for on the local music scene."

The Cross Keys Review

26/3/10

Its obvious that the local circuit contains some excellent bands,Broadband being one of them.Even though much of their music was not my main cup of tea, have to say they worked hard all night and sounded very good.Well done to the mixing guy who took a pride in what he was doing, constantly out in the crowd having a listen. This band would be perfect for private functions as their music range is quite wide.Their enthusiasm was quite infectious.Well done guys(and Galls!)

"A brilliant Rock Of The North Moment occured when Karon from Broadband, Louise from Empress and Jenna from Hooson joined on

stage to sing 4 Non Blondes Whats Going on. The song was awesome with these three rock diva's on the same stage with the

same song. It was a moment not to forget, it was just brilliant".

Rock Of The  NorthKaron Lewis brought her Broadband troops to the stage. Karon is a cracking singer and ripped through a great repertoire of old and newer songs. With a superb band behind her, it's no surprise how popular they are on the pub-rock scene. Like all our Frockers on the day, Karon looked great under the Splash Alley light show and was resplendent in a black V-necked shirt with the "Frock" pink-ribboned skull and plaits logo on the front. Attention to detail? I think so! re-christened
